Most of the time. But there are a few problems that is, especially if you use VBA.

Also note that there are more problems with 64-bit Office 2010. I hope that you do not install that. Few people need. And it is less reliable than 32-bit Office 2010, AFAIK.
Finally, note that Microsoft Excel Help is terrible in 2010, to say the least. It is so bad that I am pleased that I installed Office 2010 under a path unique and retained Office 2003 for posterity. I always rely on XL2003 help.
