How can I remove the trial version of MS Access?

Question:

Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me how to uninstall the trial version of MS Access of MS Office Small Business 2007 please? Since long expired trial version seems to be conflicting with a version of the Access runtime that I need to run certain programs.

I use Vista Business.

Answer:

Hi Marc,

You should be able to do the following:

1 Close all Office 2007 applications that are open.
2. Choose the uninstall option program on Windows Vista. This can be done through the control panel or by typing appwiz.cpl in a command line run from the start menu.
3 Locate your suite Office 2007 in the list of programs.
4. Select this suite Office 2007 and then click with the right button on it and choose change.
5. In the change dialog box, select the option Add or remove components and then click on continue.
6. In the Installation Options dialog box, click the black on the arrow next to Microsoft Access and choose not available.
7. Click on continue.
8 Once the configuration process is complete, click Close.
